HARVEY JESUS - VOCALIST
Harvey Jesus was born and raised in the 9th ward amongst the most popular musicians of the day. During that time the music charts were covered with the sounds and artists that came out of New Orleans and the Ward.

Harvey was first introduced to the music scene in 1964 by Art Sirvan who was the lead singer of the Jokers who had several hits, "There's Gotta to be a Girl", "Last Date" and "Don't Break Your Promise to Me". Harvey joined the Jokers and developed into a powerful vocalist and charismatic entertainer.

In the late 60s and early 70s, rock was emerging as the prominent music of the day, and Harvey was drawn toward this new dynamic which led to the formation of the band Together, comprised of the most popular and talented musicians around. They hit the road and headlined many big venues and opened for many major acts including Lynyrd Syknyrd, Ted Nugent and Chaka Khan.

After many years on the road, Harvey returned to New Orleans and started a 10 year run at the Bounty which developed into the premier night spot in the city and made Harvey a local celebrity. Harvey then moved the band to another very popular local spot "Frankie G's" where he still commanded a huge following playing all the top hit's of the day.

In 1998, Harvey Jesus was inducted into the Lousiana Music Hall of Fame, and remains one of the most engaging singers around. This charismatic entertainer moves audiences to their feet nightly with heartfelt interpretations of the songs that touch his soul. No matter what genre, his powerful voice and incredible range leave music lovers of all ages amazed.

SID BARDFIELD - GUITAR AND VOCALS
Sid was born in New Orleans in the Bayou St.John area and now resides in Metairie.

He never touched a guitar till the ripe old age of twenty one, but was a fast learner. Sid started out in his own three piece bands but soon was offered positions in numerous popular local bands including Midnight Special and The Nobles. In August of 1995, he joined forces with Harvey and hasn't looked back since.

Harvey jokes that Sid is the "man of one thousand eleven and a half voices", describing his vocal flexibility. His warm soulful renditions of songs like Larry Graham's "One in a Million" and "The Wonder of You" by Elvis coupled with falsetto versions of the Bee Gees and Michael Jackson hits will have you doing double takes.

It takes a very versatile instrumentalist to play guitar that is appropriate for every genre of music. Whether it's Standards, Blues, Rock, Disco or anything in between Sid is amazing. His love of music is evident with the energy and passion he demonstrates.

Sid also acts as the bands highly skilled sound technician, making sure that each band member sounds their best. Always give 110% is his motto.

ROBERT STURCKEN - PIANIST/SYNTHESIZERS, BASS GUITAR, SAXOPHONE & VOCALS
A multi-instumentalist, Harvey says of Robert, "There is no instrument he can't play". While he is always on bass guitar, keyboards and sax, you never know what other instruments he'll bring on any given evening.

Sid has dubbed him the Supreme Emissary of Galactic Funk referring to Robert's sense of rhythm and percussive playing style.

Vocally Robert rounds out the band with "in your face" groove songs such as "Smooth" by Santana and "Ain't No Stoppin Us Now" by McFadden and Whitehead.

Robert taught himself the clarinet at age eight and started playing gigs professionally on sax at fourteen. His then music professor the late Frank J. Mannino offered him to play gigs with the "Frankie Mann Orchestra". From that moment on, with Frank's support and encouragement and mentoring, Robert was hooked, and played social engagements all through high school. In addition, Robert took part in Drum and Bugle competitions nation wide.

During his freshman year of college, Robert co founded the local group Mirage who played at the Bounty opposite Harvey Jesus from 1977 through 1980. During that time Harvey and Robert forged a friendship coming to the club on their nights off to see each other perform, and judging the Monday night Gong Show along with Bobby Cure.

After Mirage disbanded Robert spent a brief time on keyboards and vocals in a house gig at The Quarter Note in Fat City before going on to play with Bobby Cure and the Summertime Blues and later The St. Charles Streetcar Band.

As a side man he has backed Paul Anka as well as a host of New Orleans greats such as Irma Thomas(It's Raining), Frankie Ford(Sea Cruise), Ernie K'doe(Mother in Law), Oliver Morgan(Who Shot the LALA), and Bobby Mitchell (I'm Gonna Be A Wheel Someday).

Robert has been keyboardist and featured vocalist with West End, Soul Revival, and Remember When to name a few.

As an educator, he is a member of Louisiana Music Educator's Association, and has taught at Fountainebleau High School in Mandeville as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Kenner.

For the last twelve years he has been involved in Music Ministry at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mandeville and spent time directing both the Children's and Teen Choirs.

Just prior to Hurricane Katrina he opened Euphoria Studio in Mandeville and has (since the storm) produced local talent such as Becca Milligan, Christopher Michael Bradley, Gene Lipps and the Little Bigger Band, Mike Coscino, Jennifer Marie Rees, and Dave Ancar (Harvey's son).

"After thirty four years of playing professionally, it is a pleasure to be with a local legend like Harvey Jesus as my full time gig."
